It’s the Grilled Cheese with Turkey and Tomato Sandwich
Here are the ingredients that you will need:
- 2 slices whole-grain bread
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 2 ounces sliced turkey
- 1 slice tomato
- Cooking spray
- 1/2 cup pea pods
- 2 tablespoons low-fat ranch dressing
And you make it just like you would any other sandwich.
The only difference is that you toast it a bit by coating a skillet with cooking spray and toasting the sandwich for about 3 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
You can also serve the sandwich with some fresh vegetables like pea pods.
I always find that adding fresh cut, raw vegetables helps add some flavor to a meal.
